Book Sale Update - 10th March 2017
Thank you for those who donated some books for our book sale and for the school council reps who helped sell the books. We raised £62.
We would like to raise some money for a music trolley, to hold all of our percussion instruments. We are asking for children to bring in one g00d quality book that they don’t want anymore and bring it into school on Thursday 9th March.
School Council Blog
The school council have decided to keep a check on the classroom's cloakrooms, to see how tidy they are. They are going to judge which is the tidiest and give a certificate at the end of term to the classroom's tidiest classroom. We have talked about how to keep the library tidy. The school council reps are going to remind everyone in the key stage assemblies on how to use the library properly.
This term the school council have been really useful in giving staff a pupil voice about their subjects. We have talked about bullying, French, PE and are also soon going to give our thoughts on our science lessons.
We had a another book sale, which was not so popular as the last one, but still earned another £10 to go towards our music resources. Thanks to those who bought a book.
School Council Competition - The school council set a competition to find a fantastic picture to go on the front cover of the KS1 nativity programme. The school council reps enjoyed judging the competition and presented Olivia from year 5 with a certificate in celebration assembly.
The classes have voted for the new school council representatives. The reps photos have been taken for the school council board in the corridor. The reps have been asked by the lunchtime supervisors of some ideas for teats for the best house in the lunch hall. We have also created some posters for the upcoming animal show.
The school council has combined celebrating the diverse cultures of our school and making our entrance more welcoming.
